Kuujjuarapik Demonstration Master Plan

Located at the southern edge of the Kativik Region along the cost of Hudson Bay, Kuujjuarapik is challenged by its remote location, harsh climate, and fast-growing population. The Village sought to develop a new master plan that addressed these challenges while creating urban form and housing that reflects and celebrates Inuit culture. Working with a collaborative team of urban planners, designers, and architects, Re: public team members developed a demonstration plan for the Village and prototype housing in order to achieve a more responsive and appropriate urban environment for residents.
