Metrolinx Analysis of Community Uses

As the regional transit authority for the Greater Golden Horseshoe in Toronto, Metrolinx sought to better understand how to encourage and accommodate a greater mix of uses at transit stations in order to improve user experience and safety without adding increased operational costs. As part of a collaborative team, members of Re: public conducted a policy and regulatory analysis of this potential, as well a review of international best practices. The project concluded with the development of a demonstration plan, incorporating a full program of uses into selected transit stations.
